-Normal red is not that color....
-Dye chart didn't help -Purple + dye remover... that only worked for me for monk armor. -I tried red + dye remover .. it's a light red I'll try purple + red + silver ... hopefully that works.. If anyone knows for sure... then let me know! |

Whenever I made elementalist and used the normal red colour from the character making, it looked like that. Might be my screen too. But eveyr dye colour is different on armour, because of its colour components in it. Can make "white" dye on Canthan ranger armour and monks armour, because of their tan base colour.
So hope you understand what I was talking about Edit: Might be the light effect too. See the warm light around her, and cold light will give a colder colour. |

Yeah i know what you mean.. but it's not red. Red is way darker than that. I've tried, even in the same lighting it's still way darker.

Shows most of dye combiniations. Might try silver+red+purple, or silver+silver+red. |

There is a color chart with most of the armors and pics of all the results. Find the ele armor that you want colored and look through for the combination they used. |

Applying the same color twice generally increases saturation, and silver makes it brighter. So it may be red + red + silver. Or red + red + purple + silver.

i cant see any pictures in this thread. Im assuming you are looking for something along the lines of a dark pink?
ive found green + purple makes a very nice magenta color- add 2 silvers and youd probably get a decent color. EDIT- OK I SEE THE PIC Id still try the green + purple combo with possibly silver... maybe even go so far as to do this: green+purple+red+silver you could alternatively do G+Prp+silv+dye remover since the ELE armor has good base coloring to work with.... just a suggestion-> I have this combo on m monk (so it may be slightly different on ele) You guys might think Im full of it for saying green+purple is magenta... The first time i did it I was hopeing for something else lol but it works really well. Last edited by Horseman Of War; Aug 21, 2006 at 06:48 PM // 18:48.. |
